On November 29 morning, Zhu Jinqian, director of Nike media(China), did not go to the airport as usual, but go to Qingyuan rural primary school, Beijing. The students there are the workers’ children.
In Qingyuan elementary school, Zhu Jinqian and her colleagues help the PE teacher design teaching plans, then the teacher leads the students running, playing games and playing basketball. It seems very ordinary, but it is one of segment of "Let Me Play". This project aims at exploring children’ potential through sports.
"Let Me Play" is one innovative sports project which is launched by NIKE and Save the Child. The content of is including: specialized development of sports courses, teacher training, sports equipments, sports facilities donation, project evaluation and school sports competitions. In this way, it helps children’ self-promotion through the sports.
In addition to China, NIKE has also launched "Let me play" in other parts of world, and NIKE carries out different plans according to local actual condition.
It is reported that "Let Me Play" is also an important component of community investment strategy. NIKE community investment strategy takes advantage of sports to explore children’ potential and improve their living standard. This project, as a global unified sign, is launched worldwide.
