Buff, Inc., known for their innovative, versatile and multifunctional headwear, will provide 100 assorted Buff? headwear to the Up 4 Wellness hiking series hosted by Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. The series will benefit the Teton Wellness Institute, a nonprofit organization empowering people to make healthy lifestyle choices by inspiring health and wellness every day.
“We are proud to sponsor this exciting new event hosted by our valued dealer, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, to support the Teton Wellness Institute,” said Shirley Choi Brunetti, U.S. vice president and general manager. “Summer weather at high elevations can be so unpredictable, we’re confident the Buff? headwear we provide will truly show its multifunctional capabilities and keep the participants cool, comfortable, and protected.”
Up 4 Wellness is an event founded by Jackson Hole Resort founder Connie Kemmerer and will find participants hiking the resort, pledging a donation to the Teton Wellness Institute, and, on the honor system, logging the number of climbs they complete. For every climb logged, participants will be entered in a raffle to win a Jackson Hole Mountain Resort winter season pass and other prizes including Buff? headwear. The series will begin in early July and run through September 4th.
Donations garnered from the event will help fund the Teton Wellness Institute’s efforts to inspire a deeper understanding of healthcare options, awaken new perspectives, and expand knowledge of an integrative approach to personal and community well being.
The mix of Buff headwear donated to the event will include samples of the UV Buff?, perfect for high altitude adventures. The UV Buff? can be worn over 12 different ways and is made from CoolMax? Extreme fabric. CoolMax? blocks 95-percent of UV rays and wicks sweat quickly away from skin to keep you cool and dry on hot days due to its four-channel fiber. Polygiene technology helps combat odor and promotes sweat control by releasing non-toxic silver ions to break down odor-causing bacteria.
