3point5.com recently launched online training for audio component manufacturer Skullcandy, a brand that spans key Action Sports, Snowsports and Bike markets for the retail training leader.

3point5.com trains salespeople on brand, technology and product details using interactive Web sites built on behalf of manufacturers. Retail salespeople train for free on brands they sell, earning deep discounts by passing 3point5.com “Edu-Games”.

“Skullcandy was looking for a way to use the Internet to connect shop employees to our brand,” said Luke Edgar, Director of Core Sales and Dealer Stokage for Skullcandy. “Partnering with 3point5.com – which already has strong connections to companies in the Action Sports, Snowsports and Bike industries – was a natural fit.”

“Users of 3point5.com are deeply involved in sports that complement our product,” Edgar said. “When we made the decision to build training online they were the natural choice. This partnership ensures a consistent training message delivered in a fast-paced, online format.”

3point5.com has built its name building online training sites for the Outdoor industry, but has rapidly expanded into Hunt/Fish, Snowsports, Footwear, Bike and Action Sport markets.

“Skullcandy’s high-technology, youth-oriented brand fits well into the 3point5.com training format,” said 3point5.com CEO Duncan Robins. “It’s a great complement to our growing array of offerings in Bike, Snowsports and Action Sports.”

3point5.com, which was founded in 2004, recently surpassed 100,000 registered users, a significant milestone showcasing robust growth. In addition, users surpassed the three million “Edu-Game” mark on Oct. 31, just one year after 3point5.com recorded its one-millionth Edu-Game.
