In December, Decathlon opens the concept store in Chengdu, Sichuan province, which is the second store in Chengdu. Decathlon stricly chooses place to open store in China, the West is potential to develop. There are different goods areas in the store, convenient for customers to choose, a maintenance workshop, the professional staff provide service for the customers. Meanwhile, Decathlon provides the large free parking lot, outdoor leisure venues, and will hold various theme sports activity.

In 2010, Decathlon opens 10 stores in China, the total stores will be 30 in China. At beginning of 2010, Decathlon opens store in Beijing and Dalian, Liaoning province, expands the flagship store in Shanghai. Decathlon will open store in Changchun, Jilin province, and Ningbo, Zhejiang province. Decathlon will improve the network in Chengdu, Guangzhou, Guangdong province, and Suzhou, Jiangsu province.
