On May 26, 2008 Gore-Tex Experience More Outdoor Fund Announcement Event was held in Beijing. The winning team, the media and outdoor fans, more than 100 people attended this event. Gore-Tex presented the awards to the most popular proposals, the SUV group, the photography group. The two proposals are: Guizhou Minority Adventure Trip and Burma Road Cross Trip. The two teams got the honorary trophy and banner.

Dirk Teckenburg, General Manager of COF China, gave a speech on the opening ceremony. He said,ã€ã€žMore and more people participate in the outdoor sports and the outdoor sports develops day by day. There are more scientific and reasonable proposals attended the Experience More. The outdoor sports will be bright in China. Gore-Tex is dedicated to the outdoor sports, and encourages the outdoor fans experience the outdoor life.

The Experience More is more and more popular in China now. In addition, Gore-Tex improves the domestic security of outdoor sports. Gore-Tex has donated the Red Cross Foundation’s Emergency Relief Fund, especially donates the team in Sichuan earthquake areas.
