Descente Ltd reported its sales for the year ended March 31, 2010 reached 57.7 billion ($616.2mm), down 4.7% from a year earlier but slightly ahead of its forecast of 56.50 billion ($609.1mm).

The Japanese maker of sportswear, best known in the United States for its snowsports apparel, reported operating income fell 36.6% to 2.14 billion ($23.1mm), falling 14.4% short of its forecast for the year. Net income reached 1.21 billion ($13.1mm), down 12.5% from a year earlier and 13.6% below forecast.
