Malakye will hold its annual Office Booyz contest this coming weekend, February 27, 2010, at Bear Mountain. This year’s event has been dubbed the O.BLYMPIC Edition, and has a few surprises in store for participants and spectators. Here’s the official release from Malakye:

OFFICE BOOYZ (OB) Snow, the non-contest contest for full-time desk jockey’s who work in the action sports industry, will take place at Bear Mountain Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010.

Seeing that it’s the 3rd annual OFFICE BOOYZ Snow contest and Olympic fever is in the air, OB ‘10 has been deemed the O.B.LYMPIC Edition, adding a couple extra surprises.

To add a little icing on the donut, OB will be tied in with Bear Mountain’s 20th Year of Park Development Celebration Party, which will commence after the OB Award Ceremony.

One more thing, all OB contestants get FREE vouchers to ride at Bear the following day (Sunday)!
Keep in mind, anyone who shows up for the event is a contender for the best prize. OB is all about bringing the industry together to dork around in a non-competitive jam-session format. Costumes, props, custom gear and shenanigans are ALWAYS encouraged!

About OFFICE BOOYZ: OFFICE BOOYZ is a contest created for people who work in the action sports industry, and was founded by Karl Fuhre and his friends four years ago in Vancouver, Canada. What started out as a few friends getting together to have a snowboard competition against fellow “desk jockey’s” is now a full blown international contest series.
