Yes it’s that time again. The brand new lists of Antarctica and fall 8000ers expeditions are in the works.

It’s been a jammed spring and summer season in Himalaya; less so on the North Pole where teams aborted early and paved way for extensive Greenland coverage instead.

On the 8000ers, Pakistan is closing down following a massive but bittersweet season while Nepal and Chinese politics continue to add extra flavor to mountaineering there. Permits are slowly being granted, expect lots of action on Manaslu this year.

The lists of expeditions should be up within two weeks, please add yours in time to allow corrections before the documents are coded. Thanks and good luck with preps!
