By comparison, Metro, Auchan and Carrefour mostly set in Chengdu and Chongqing got less losses, have reopened and the goods prices keep as ever before. Among them, some commodities’ sales like water, foods, quilts and disinfectant fluid are several times than ever, even supply shortage for disinfectant fluid and other goods. But the whole market keeps orderly without panic buying。
Referring to the development after the heavy quake, most enterprises still feel confident. Many international chain stores said, the southwestern China centered on Chengdu was still their key business areas. Although the disaster happened, the expansion plan in China especially in Chengdu would not be changed.
