December 31, 36 walking enthusiasts gathered, started at Chengdu Tianfu Square to hike towards Luodai old town to welcome 2008 New Year coming in a special way.

Some Chengdu university students organized this campaign. They are like outdoor sports in spare time, so one of them posted a topic for mobs on internet, many internet fellows followed and then held this campaign. "2008 is Olympic as we all known, we hope to welcome New Year coming by a special healthy way."

They were hiking in the sunshine and finally most them, except two gave up on the way, finished the whole trip, up to 25.09 km, and arrived at the destination Luodai old town.
