China Outdoor Retailer Association will hold its Fall ’07 Outdoor School in the ancient capital of Xi’An in western China from September 4 to 6th. The training camp, presented by GORETEX, will include training in outdoor apparel, footwear, backpacks, climbing gear and outdoor accessories. There are also two sessions on product merchandizing and sales techniques.

This is the first time an outdoor training camp with all of the outdoor product categories is held in China. The camp is aimed at giving shop sales staff a better understanding of the products in their shops, as well as exchanging information on best practices.

There is also an "outdoor experience day" on the last day of the training camp where attendees will be able to experience first-hand experience the new Fall 06 products in the outdoors.
