GeoStone Retaining Wall Systems Inc. said the company has expanded its business to distribute preassembled outdoor living spaces.
GeoStone President David Agee said the company is the state’s first licensed dealer to sell products from Harmony Outdoor Living Inc., a Wisconsin-based manufacturer of preassembled outdoor living components.
Agee said GeoStone has invested in the display products and is about to make another significant investment to build up its inventory. GeoStone will sell to dealers that deal directly with homeowners and installers.
The Harmony components include outdoor kitchens, patios, fireplaces, grills, water features and benches. The preassembled components can be customized and are priced significantly less than custom-built outdoor living areas, he said.
The expansion is a good fit for GeoStone right now, said Agee, with many homeowners holding off on selling their homes and opting to invest in their property.
