Cma announces that both the Master in Shanghai and the Asian X Games will be open events

Varying slightly from the usual standard for Master events, the Chinese Mountaineering Association has decided to open the Shanghai Rock Master to all climbers from the IFSC members federations. The lead Master, which will take place in Shanghai, China, on May 2 and 3, 2009, will therefore see the participation of climbers invited by the Chinese Federation itself, and of all those wishing to compete. It is worth remembering that also the Asian X Games,  scheduled fto take place in Shanghai from April 30 until May 5, will be an international event, open to non-Asian climbers as well.
